Never forgotten. We honor those who went before. 09-11-01 the day the towers fell. 01-23-05 Black Sunday, 2 FDNY firefighters (Lt. Curtis Meyran, 46, & Firefighter John Bellew, 37) lost their lives and 4 were seriously injured jumping from a window of an apartment fire, and the same day at a separate incident a 3rd firefighter (FF Richard Sclafani, 37) lost his life at a 2 alarm blaze. 12-02-72 Orlando Fire Asst. Chief Calvin Bookhardt lost his life in a building collapse and 12 other firefighters were injured. These, and the many others who gave all are the ones we remember.
